cheating

I just finshed reading Prof. Marsh's blog on Cheating. When I read the REMINDERS AND NOTICES page, at the bottom I saw a blog about "cheating." When I first read that I tought to myself... "oh my god, Prof. Marsh is an english teacher, adviosly he knows when someone is plagasing and writing things that are not true. I mean the first couple of days of school, when he coaught one of my classmates copying from wyecipedia( I don't know how to spell it), I was amazed how he just copied from the students blog and pasted it onto google. That amazed me, and I found it so funny, I had to tell everyine in my family and at work, it was a warning to be honest. So someone made believe that they interviewed someone. I mean honestly, why would you do somthing "FAKE" in this class? Prof. Marsh is extremely intellegent, or maybe he just has this talent and he can tell when someone is lying, cheating, and stealing. I would never do that in this class, I mean that is just too odvious to "FAKE" something.

Going on a diet.

To me, I think going on a diet is not hard. I have been dieting so much and I love it. I love my body and I love to take care of it.
You know I am Italian and in my family there is no such thing as eating there's such thing as "Mange Mange" Which is Italian for Eat!! eat! Oh god, when ever I go to my relatives house, or forget it, when I go to my boyfriends house, everyone is eating. In my house and my boyfriend's house the refrigerator is completely full! Wait until you see the pantry (I call it a pantry, its the place you put all of the junk food) Oh my god though! It is crazy how much junk is there.
My boyfriend works in a pizzeria and he brings home two pies per week. It is crazy how much pizza we all eat.
You know I can't understand, his sister is so big. I mean she is huge! She is my age and I bet she weights at least two hundred maybe even two hundred and fifty pounds. I am honestly more than half the size of her. I weigh one twenty. And I am a size three in pants.
I can not understand when I go to these parties how terrible everyone eats. It makes my stomach turn. They eat anti-pasta, which is cheese, ham, etc. Then soup, then pasta, then meat, then fruit, then desert. I mean they eat all day! I can't understand! If I eat the soup I'll be good for the day.
You know what I hate the most! It is when I do not eat and they tell me "oh, if you diet your hair is going to fall out, your going to get sick, blah blah blah. Like they know what they are talking about. It makes me so sick to see people stuff their face in. Especially the way my boyfriend's sister eats! It's terrible. Some people really need to diet! I mean the population is getting fatter and fatter. I need to write a book.

In Class

Right now I am in my Philosohy class. And he is a good teacher, however the class is a three hour long class. He is a great teacher...but half way through the class everyone starts to fall asleep. He gives great examples in class. It is a philosophy class which involoves a lot of thinking. Right now we are talking about having power and "worth." He said is worth about economics. Why do we care how much you are worth. If you are looking for a future why is money involved? The abilty to fulfill your desires in the contented life. I can fix what happeneds a week from now, good or bad. The more people that respect me will fallow me and do something something something. I don't have a clue I am just taking notes. Anyways, I am tall and he is in the kitchen and they are cooking and he has to get soemthing from the top shelf and he can get it. this is a form of power. Goods, what ever is on the top shelf is good. We need them we have a lack for them. The fact that I am tall I can get it. Whatever, big deal. What am I thinking about?
why does St.Johns have these lame classes, what am I learning...more and more history. Does is matter? My pen just ran out of ink. I bet its a sign for don't take notes because it is not worth it. Good luck and la dee daa. Now my foot fell asleep. I can't believe I have been in this class for only one hour and there are two hours to go. Atleats I wrote my paper. They want to use my power to get certain good. Wow today i am participating a lot.

Laser hair removal (change)

Are you tired of shaving, waxing or tweezing? Do you find yourself upset because you have a ton of hair and you just want to get rid of it? Laser hair removal, the new and improved technology to removing your un-wanted hair. According to the New York Daily News, on November 12, 2006, Laser hair removal is the newest trend of the century. Many people are curious and want to do it.
Many of us look in the mirror and do not want the un-wanted hair on our body, face, back, legs, toes, underarms, you name it! Many people tried from waxing and the hair grows back in two weeks. Others try shaving and the hair comes back in two days, and tweezing…how far can you go with that?
Laser hair removal technology can solve all of these problems. So what actually is Laser hair removal? I for one have done this experiment on my under-arms, and I have lasered many patients because I am a medical assistant and I work for a dermatologist.
When you make an appointment for a consult, the person doing the laser will tell you everything you need to know about laser hair removal. The laser is connected to a three foot long wire, which is hooked up to a computer. The head of the laser is about one inch long and one inch wide (square shaped).
When you are put in the room, your eyes are completely covered with very dark goggles. You will not be able to see what is going on during the procedure. The person(s) that are doing the laser wear strong sunglasses to protect their eyes from the laser.
Once the goggles are on, an ultra sound gel is put onto the area being lasered. This gel is very cold and helps the laser move smoothly. Once you are set the laser is put on and the procedure begins.
A bunch of consent forms most be signed before the procedure. The reason for one consent form is because there are possible side effects. One side effect is bruising or burning, I have never seen anyone bruised, but I have seen some one get burned.
The laser starts off on a certain level. The level is set according to your skin color, hair color, eye color, and depending on how bad you burn in the sun. After every treatment the level rises to get a better response, each treatment.
The laser works best on whiter skin and darker hairs. The laser can sense the difference between the dark hairs and the light skin. When a darker person with darker hairs does the treatment, the laser is set at the lowest, slowest level because it has to be extra careful. The laser also can get confused when it senses pale skin with blonde hairs.
The feeling of the laser is more so of a tiny pinch. It feels like a rubber band snapping at every single hair. You can definitely feel the laser shooting out the hairs one by one. You can even smell a burning smell, which is a smell of the burning of the molecule. Many patients tolerate the pain because “You have to suffer to be beautiful.”
It is not painful, it is tolerable. The treatment takes about five to ten minutes, depending on the area being treated. For instance, if the upper lip is being treated it takes about five minutes. If the underarms are being treated if takes fifteen minutes for each underarm. If the chest is being treated it takes about a half hour.
Is this permanent? This is the question everyone asks about laser hair removal. It takes about five to seven treatments for the hairs to completely go away. Every session, forty percent of the hairs are completely gone. If you do the math it takes anywhere from five to seven treatments.
“How much does is this going to cost me?” Of course since computers and knowledge is involved, it sounds extremely expensive to have laser hair removal. Depending on the amount of hair taken off, adds up the price. For instance Dr.Osman charges two hundred dollars for the upper lip, per session. It cost about three hundred dollars for the upper leg, per session. Remember it takes about five to seven sessions.
There are not that many disadvantages because this technology is brand new, and has only been out for about five years. Scientist predicts that this can be completely permanent jugging by their studies. Remember this is an experiment.
Laser hair removal has many advantages. It is definitely worth the money, worth the patients and worth the results. All the people I have done laser hair removal on are all very happy with their results. The thought of never having to shave, tweeze, or wax ever again is the best thing to hear before going to the beach, or doing any kind of activity that shows skin.

MY GirL CouSinz

AW!! it is so hard to look at this picture! These are all of my girl cousins in Italy. When I went to Italy we took this picture outside of " Club JuBile" It was the best club I have ever been to in my life! It had three floors and it was out doors, on the water. I miss them so much! Hopefully I cant go to Italy to see them this summer. ♥

On Vacation!

This is a Picture of me and Steve on Vacation! We went upstate for the weekend! You can see all the snow there. It was a great get-away! We had a blast! ♥

MONSTER JAM

This is Me and Steve at Monster Jam! This was Steve birthday present from my parents. Monster Jam was in Nassau Coliseum, In Long Island New York. In the picture you can see the huge ramp that the motorcyclist did stunts on. And you can also see a bunch of cars piled together for the Monster Trucks to ram over! ♥

HALLOWEEN

This Is a picture of Me and Steve on Halloween. We were both dressed up as devils. Well we are always little devils! On the night Me, Steve, and a lot of our Friends went to a club called "Blagio" Located on Queens BLVd. In Queens New York. ♥

PROM NIGHT

This is my favorite picture of me and my Boyfriend Steve. I love this picture so much! It it a beautiful picture of the both of us. We are both dressed up and happy! And of course it is Prom night! So we had an amazing time!

PIGS!

I just got my first ticket! these pigs (cops) came to my house and gave me a ticket! What a bunch of jerks!
I parked in my driveway, which blocked off the sidewalk, but you can still walk on my side walk!
I parked my car at 12 midnight there because I knew I had to go to school at 6:30AM. This is unbelievable! I would of never thought I would get a ticket at 5:30AM!
I just missed them by an hour! This is unbelievable! Why can't I park on MYYYY side walk??
I clean it, I shovel it..So why can't I park in it? I am going to fight this ticket! This is crazy! There is so much snow on the ground that I rather park in my sidewalk then in the middle of the street! And plus there was so much ice on the sidewalks when I was walking to work..People don't even clean their sidewalks! How come they don't get a ticket? Sorry but I am not paying for this ticket!
This is crazy, I save up all my money for myself and I have to pay the government! You know they take half of my paycheck, and now they want to take even more! I am so upset!
I will admit, I have picture of me parking REALLY bad, even when I am in St.Johns I park on the line, in two spots, REALLYY baD! But come on in front of my house? They have to be kidding!
This really upsets me! I hate cops! Their a bunch of pigs!

Studying

I hate studying! I have to get my act together and study. I just can't stand it. I never read so much junk in my life. Everything I read last semester and was tested on I already forgot!
You know what I hate most about an exam? I study so much and then when I get the test I do bad, because the professor these to throw in curve balls. I hate that! I hate test! And I hate studying!
I feel like I should study but it's just sooooooo much work! And when I study then get the test its so tricky! I feel like saying whats the point of me studying?
I took a test Monday in science! Wow that was the worse test ever! I definitely do not want it back. I probably got a 25 on it! I no I did bad because it confused me! I was so confused. Everything that was on the review sheet was like two or three words to define a word but on the test it was one word. It was so hard! I just took a theology test and there were 100 Questions on it! fifty questions were true false. And yes there were so many curve balls I got so mad and just put everything as true, true, straight down!
I can't stand test! thank god they give extra credit assignments. I rather do an extra credit assignment then do a test. At least there is a break coming soon. But before the break...guess what! We have a bunch of mid-terms! Can school be anymore ANNOYING?

AThena The Great Greek =P

I have so many friends. I honestly do not consider all of them friends...I consider them ALL to be best friends. I do not put my friends in any kind of category, I find that unfair. I mite consider someone my "friend" but they mite consider me to be their "Best Friend."
That can make a person feel bad. Some people have three best friends and everyone else is just an associate and the rest are enemies. I never had an enemy, or got into a fight with anyone. I honestly think I am the nicest, sweetes person there is! It is because I grew up with "be good to other's as they would be good to you." I think everyone saids it, so I am not going to quote it after anyone and put it in my commonplace book.
So today I went to my best friends house. Her name is Athena. HA! she is not Greek, but I call her "Athena the great Greek" because she is not Greek. And she calls me Miss. Italia! Athena is such a sweet heart, we have been friends since sixth grade. So yes that is over seven years. It went by so fast. Since I have no time and neither does she, we both made time to see each other today. It was great!
We are so much fun. I remember growing up fellow peers were jealous that we were best friends and did everything together. We laughed at everything!! And we even had our own words.
"CONGAR" Is the funniest word we ever made up! Everyone of our friends say it...but it sounds so funny coming from my mouth or Athena's mouth.
We say "CONGAR" in every situation... Such as...
"You want to go to the mall?" and I would say "YEAH CONGAR!"
or "Wow hes HOT!" and she would say "yeah Congar!"
the best part is when we would say it and people will say "what's a congar?"
HAHHAHAHA! that would have us pee our pants!
then since everyone kept saying Congar, we started saying "F*** THAT!"
HAHAHAHAHA!
for example I would say "you want to go to school today?" and Athena would say "F*** THAT!"
or "should I stop at this stop sign" and Athena would say " NO! FU** That!"
Then after a while we combined "CONGAR!!! F*** THAT!"
such as.... "Steve and I got into a fight" and Athena would say "CONGAR! F*** THAT!"
this has been going on for so long and I still laugh when I hear it!

ANNOYING!!

annoying!! The word of the day! It is about eight o'clock at night and you have to know how annoying my day was today!
OK so I wake up today, and my alarm clock did not go off. So I woke up fifteen minutes late! That is so bad! I woke up late for work one time because my phone freezes. OK so I woke up annoyed at my phone. Then I go to my first class and I told the teacher that the test we took the other day was too hard! and others said it was fair! That is really annoying! Then I go to Prof. Marsh's office and I find out that theres a report due and I didn't start and I didn't know that there was no class! Annoying! I have a report to due now! (don't worry Prof. I am not mad at you!) =D
then I go to my college professor and he annoyed me because he didn't know what he was talking about. I waited an hour and a half for my next class and then I find out it's cancelled! That is freakin annoying! I could of been home at 8:30 and I got home at 10! That's annoying. Then I get into an argument with my boyfriend..ANNOYING! Then I come home to take a nap...and as I am sleeping my job calls me! Oh My God that is annoying!! Waking up to hear my bosses voice! Oh and then I started my report...it had to be 800-1000 words. I got to 300 words and I didn't know what else to write! I was getting so annoyed!
Well my day is not over yet...but I hope no one annoyes me!

REPORT #1

Research Paper #1

Over one million children are home schooled in the United States. Many reasons of being home schooled is because of a disability to go to school, being expelled from school, on the road most of their life, or having no motivation to go to school. Some issues of staying home are reasonable and others are not suitable.
Everyone has their own opinion on the issue of home schooling. This issue is spoken about to children, teenagers, parents, even teachers. Many people think that certain children should be home schooled; on the other hand many people are against it.
There are many advantages for home schooled children. One reason for home schooled is that children are no longer peer pressured by their fellow peers. Another reason is that children have a better relationship with their parents and siblings because they are in the house all day. One other reason is that the children are going their own speed and have a better understanding the subject.
When an issue has advantages, they also have disadvantages. One disadvantage that home schooled children have is that the children do not develop any social skills because they only communicate with the people in their house, they will not be able to associate and meet with other children of the same age. Another disadvantage is the assumption that schools have enhanced books, and the teachers have an enhanced education than a parent does not have. The parent must be willing to go the extra mile and do the research if a question can not be answered on the spot.
There is also a financial reason to having the parents not go to work and staying home with their children. For many families this requires some financial alteration and the parent with the top salary continues to work and support the family. Most of the time this leads to fathers working and the mothers taking on the home schooling job. Many families see the cost of sending their children to catholic school or a private school all their life verses staying home and going to home school.
Many children can not stand school and hate it. Every morning having to wake up out of bed, then hopping on the yellow cheese bus and going to school. Many children dread this everyday and sometimes they just give up.
Home schooling is not just for exceptional students, athletes who are always on the road, or those winning national spelling bees. The good thing about home schooling is that it works to meet the requirements of the child verses the child determined to reconcile a large number of students with a large amount of needs per student.
Home schooling is also an outstanding choice for the students who are at risk of failing due to no motivation. This can result to the possibility of not finishing their education and a not-so-good future. While these children may have once enjoyed school they now find themselves frustrated and upset. Many signs identify a possible problem in students while they still have an opportunity to polish their education regardless of their situation, thoughts, feelings or conditions.
By identifying the signs of struggle, parents and teachers can make extra efforts to sustain and make it possible for these students to be successful, with a little push. A new point of view on these circumstances can often be the spark that turns the circumstances around. Many parents higher tutors to help their children in a specific subject and this helps a child a lot.
Should I home school my children? In my personal opinion I would never home school my children. I think my parents help me on my morals and values. My mother teaches me how to cook and my father teaches me the value of money. This is something that is not thought in school, it is something that I grew up with. My parents pushed me to go to school. There is an Italian saying, “Devi andare a scuola fincche non ti seecouro lei orecchi.“ This means, “You have to go to school until your ears fall off”. My parents tell me this every time I tell them I hate school. Well it is always my brothers who say it, but I say it when I do not feel like waking up to come to school.
I believe there are many teachers in school that will help out the children in need of help. I remember going to school and the teachers calling my home and telling my parents that I could do better and needed extra some help right away, after they saw my grades go down or lack of effort in my homework. My parents paid extra money for private tutors to help me be a better student, and it definitely helped.
The children who are in spelling bees or in the Olympics and have to be home schooled because they are on the road traveling, I am very happy for them, they also have an amazing talent and school is not a big issue for them. I also feel that they are smart enough to make a decision on knowing what is more important, going to school or pursuing their talent.
There are many advantages and disadvantages for keeping children home schooled. Everyone has there own reason and opinion on what is best for their children. Whether your child is gifted, talented, or just a normal child you decide what you want to do with your children, and I will decide what I will do with mine.

O-M-G!! HOW COOL!

Wow I am amazing!! I just figured out how to post a picture in my journal!
well I was looking at others (fellow classmates) blogs, and I saw someone had a picture in their journal, so I am trying to figure out how to do it...AND I DID!!!!
YAYYYYYY!! I am amazing! Sorry I am just so happy! Because now when I write I will put pictures in like every single entry! HA!
Ok...so about this picture...I took this picture when I was cooking at my boyfriends aunts house when we were upstate, a few days ago. I hate cooking, but when I cook I like to make cute things with it. So I had to put the shrimps in a plate and I basically made hearts with them! Aren't I cool? Well Steve and his family thought I was! =D
I hate cooking because I do not really eat, I like to make little sandwiches because it takes two minutes. Why should I wait an hour to cook diner! that's ANNOYING!
When I have to do something I try to make it as fun as possible and this is what I did.
Oh and you know the best part...It looks like I wrote a lot because I have a picture!

britney spears

Britney Spears Shaves Head Bald After 24 Hour Rehab Stint

Britney Spears

Making headlines again! Miss Britney Spears! I can not believe what I read about her this morning in the Newspaper! All over television and on the news. Britney Spears shaved her head! Can you believe this?
I do not care what anybody saids, I Love Britney Spears! When she came out with "Baby One More Time" in a catholic school outfit, I thought wow! what a genius! She is an amazing dancer, singer, actress, party girl, I love her! I don't care!
She has inspired me so much! When I was ten years old and watching her I thought she was the coolest thing. I learned all of her dance moves to all of her songs, I learned all of the lyrics to every single one of her songs. I wrote her fan mail, I bought every single CD she ever made, I just adored her.
Her blonde hair inspired me to go blonde, her voice inspired me to sing, her dance moves inspired me to dance, her gorgeous body inspired me to work out, everything about her inspired me! Oh and we are both born December 1! How freaking cool!
I remember I loved her so much, and everyone else hating on her, and disgusted with her, and said she was trashy, and said she is a bad mom! I am sorry but I do not talk about anybody like that!I feel like everyone does things for a reason, even if its for fun...like shaving her head! Who cares! whooptieedoo! Another amazing thing about her! Poor girl can't go to a club and not drink...I'd be really pissed! Everyone has to mind their own business and stay out of hers! You know I worry about school and work and my boyfriend and all these people worry about her and her life and her kids! what a bunch of losers!

Free New York Times.

Whenever I come to the Library at St.Johns, I always pick up a New York Times. New York Times is a newspaper, and it is free at St.Johns! How amazing I love this school, Free laptop, free newspaper, free tee-shirts, free a lot! But this school is expensive, well not to me because I got a nice big scholarship here, and two grants.
The reason I got a scholarship is because of my academic grades in high school and because I was on the baseball league in Cardozo. The Scholarship is worth twelve thousand a semester. Here in St.Johns its about thirty thousand a year. (fifteen grand a semester).
The grants that I got was, one from the New York City Board of Education. I scored in the ninety five percent tile when I took the S-A-T exam nation wide. I scored seven hundred sixty in reading and seven ninety in math. My total score was fifteen fifty. Yes that is amazing! I studied two months straight, every single day. I did not go out once, and I had amazing tutors. In result of the test they granted (gave me) fifteen thousand dollars towards my college found.
The other grant that I received was when I won Queen Teen Italy in 2004. This was an event that took place in New Jersey. About fifteen teenage girls, all Italians participated in this pageant for Queen Italy. I won first place and they granted me Five thousand dollars, which I use for my school books.
Basically, I do not have to pay for school, I do not have to pay for books, I do not have to pay for a laptop, and I do not have to pay for a newspaper! Ha! Isn't life amazing! Oh wait the best part, since I have a boyfriend he pays for everything else!

College Major

I just met with my boring college advisor. I will not give any names, But I will say that he does not know what he is talking about. He is no help at all. I mean seriously, I was there for five minutes and all he did was give me a paper to go on the computer and do something with it.
This is crazy! Every time I go into his office he gives me a paper. All the paper saids is.. "go on your UIS, Log on, do this and do that" How annoying! I do not know what is wrong with me, I am getting so annoyed about everything!
Anyway, when I saw my St.Johns application and I filled it out, It was so long and boring that I checked off a bunch of junk, I did not know myself that I checked off "Health and Service Administration" What is that? That is my major that I did not even know I had.
My first semester they put me in a Ethics class with a bunch of seniors, and I got a D in the class! Obviously it was hard...and ANNOYING!!!!! It was so hard, my first semester taking this stupid class when everyone is taking a bunch of CORE classes!
Anyway, I want to change my major to Physicians Assistant, known as P.A. I wanted this major because it is basically what I am doing at work. But you know what I was thinking, I want to stay with my job and just work there full time after college. That will be a lot of money. And I have yearly raises and everyone looks happy. So now I am thinking of just getting a college degree in anything. I do not want to be in a P.A. program and go work in a hospital, when I already work in a Private Practice.
I guess we have to see. I also just want to pass and get good grades and graduate, this is crazy that I have to take summer classes to "catch up" because I changed my major. Yeahh RigHTTT!! That's definitely not happening!

24 hours

I have been away from my house for twenty four hours. Now that I am home again, of course my little brother comes in my room and ask me "why are you on this blogger thingie!"
What do I say to that? Nothing changes, weather i am away on not.
Now my little brother is laughing at me because I am doing homework and he is on vacation. He is too cute. He loves bothering me when I am on the computer and he is playing video games.
Now I just got distracted. My friend just i-med me on my aol screen name. This girl that I haven't seen in like five years. I do not like her. SHe never did anything, but whenever I talk to her she asks me.. "how are you, hows life, hows your mom, hows your dad, hows steve, hows victor, hows school, hows work, when will I see you, hows Victor, tell the whole world I said hello!"
What am I her secretary? that is so annoying! I go on the computer for like twenty minutes a day and she always has to i-m me and ask me all these things. I mean come on wouldn't you be annoyed? I feel like telling her to make new friends! I haven't seen her in five years! What is the point? She isn't even a friend!
Who stays on the computer all their life? Now I lost track of tough! What was I even writing about? Wow this really is a journal and a diary!
I am really sorry but I Love New York is on and I have to turn off this computer and watch my show!

Vacation!!

Have you ever gone in a jacuzzi in fifteen degree weather? We'll I am about to go upstate for the weekend. I am going to go in my boyfriend's uncle's jacuzzi. I am so excited. I am actually waiting for my boyfriend to come pick me up now.
My friends are watching my write on my blog right now! They do not understand why I am writing in this. Everyone is now reading it and laughing! This is funny! My friend Dina is my bestfriend! She asked me if this was like myspace.
HAHAHAHAHHA Izmir is laughing at my writing. He is yelling at me because I spelt his nae wrong. But I don't care. Now he asked me if this is what I do everyday and I said Yes. And he said "gay!"
He is like that. He is GAY! My older brother knows about blogs because he had to do the same thing in Hofstra. St.Johns is a lot better.
Well my boyfriend is here to pick me up and I have to get off the computer. We had such a long day at work and I can't wait to leave right now! I am in my dad's office.

SNOwED in!

Today in Valentine's day and guess what? I am snowed in! It is snowing badly! The roads are bad and slippery! I can not get out of my house! Thank God I have night classes and they got cancelled!
I am so happy i stayed home today! I haven't had time to make my boyfriend his Valentine's Day card. I bought him a huge card. It's about two and a half feet tall and 4 feet wide. I bought it at Duane Read.
I love buying my boyfriend huge cards. I have humongous hand writing and I love to write a lot...as you can probably tell. I filled up the entire card with eight poems. I got the poems from the computer. I am not that talented to come up with my own poems!
Honestly it took me about two hours to find a poem, like it, and write it! I never spend over an hour writing a three page paper for school. It is totally ridiculous.
I should be taking a shower right now and waiting for my boyfriend to come out of work. Yeah, my boyfriend had to go to work today, the hole day! I hate his job! He is the only one with a girlfriend and everyone else had off...and they don't have anyone! Can you believe it?
Ha I just read my friends away message! she is crazy! she got a secret rose from some one in school and she threw it in the garbage! she is too funny! That is my best friend Bernarda. I will be writing about her soon.
For now I am jumping in the shower.

I need a new phone!

My cell phone is beyond broken! I have a Cingular phone for over two years. It does not work for nothing! My parents get mad at me, my boyfriend gets mad at me, my friends get mad at me... I don't get any body's phone call!
Text message is the worst! My phone does not know how to send a message. When i receive messages it is almost a day later than when the person sends it.
My phone tells people that I am on the phone...when I really am not on the phone. I remember a couple of times my boyfriend would call me and ask me, "Who were you on the phone with?" and I would respond back, "What are you talking about, I have my phone in the charger, It's charging!"
I know my phone is so confusing! Oh you know what my phone does? It gives me like twenty different numbers when someone is calling me...and it would be my friend, who is already stored in my phone. The same number comes up with more numbers and a plus sign!
I kind of like it when my phone is dead because sometimes I don't feel like calling my parents or my friends, or my boyfriend. I always use the excuse, "Oh my phone does not work!" It always gets me off the hook.
My phone is totally damaged, also. My friends always have these brand new physics and razors, all this crap, but I just don't have time to walk into a phone store and buy a phone. I feel like they over charge for cell phones. It's crazy I pay so forty dollars a month for my phone bill, why pay another two hundred for a stupid phone?
Sometimes I feel like buying a phone off of my friends. But then I wonder, why is my friend not using this phone? Is it broken? I don't know I'm totally lost and confused. I only use my cell phone for a few minutes and that's it. Whatever I need a new phone!

"Monster JAM"

you can google "Monster Jam" and go to images and see pictures.

Monster Jam

Have you ever been to "Monster Jam"? "Monster Jam" is a show (almost like a concert) that is about Monster trucks, quads, and dirt bikes. My father gave my boyfriend Steve two tickets to see Monster Jam for his birthday.
Steve and I went to Monster Jam yesterday at Nassau Coliseum. We had an amazing time! Steve is into motorcycles and cars, I told my dad that the show will be something he is definitely interested in. Steve has his own motorcycle for about two years. He loves the thrill from revving an engine and building cars.
I went to Monster Jam about two years ago with my two brothers and my father. Like I said before I am such a Tom Boy and I love my experience when I went. I was so happy to take Steve for his first time yesterday.
The first act came out and ran over ten cars and went high up into the air. It is the coolest thing to see. All the kids were yelling and screaming and rooting for their favorite truck. Eight huge monster trucks raced each other.
The second act was "team Long Island" vs. "Team New Jersey." It was eight quads (four per team) and they raced around a track. Team New Jersey won the first time and Team Long Island won the second time.
The third act was for three dirt bikes. The dirt bikers did stunts on their bikes and ran up this huge ramp, doing all kinds of tricks.
The forth act was the monster trucks came out and did donuts. The last act was free style. It is an amazing two hour long experience. It is amazing to see these people do all these crazy stunts. Me and Steve want to go again next year.

Anna Nicole Smith makes FRONT PAGE! 2/9/07

Anna dies and the vultures circle
Fight over her kid is final tragedy in lifefilled with glamour, glitz and heartbreak

Anna Nicole Smith died yesterday at age 39. Her life saw more that its share of tumult.

Anna Nicole Smith's flamboyant and turbulent life ended yesterday with her mysterious death in a Florida hotel room, but there was no rest for the buxom blond as lawyers began battling over her corpse.
The statuesque siren was not yet cold when one of the two men who claim to be the father of Smith's 5-month-old daughter, Dannielynn, demanded that a DNA swab be taken from her body to help resolve a paternity case.
The unorthodox request provoked her outraged lawyer, Ron Rale, to tell People magazine this was "the lowest form of behavior I've ever heard of."
The 39-year-old stripper-turned-celebrity's garish life went into a tailspin five months ago, ironically as her infant daughter was born.
Three days later, her 20-year-old son, Daniel, died of a drug overdose in her hospital room.
While she was grieving for one child and caring for the other, an ex-boyfriend, Larry Birkhead, claimed he was the true father of Smith's daughter, not her attorney-turned-lover Howard K. Stern. It was Birkhead's lawyer who asked yesterday that the DNA be taken from Smith's corpse.
An autopsy will be performed on the former Playmate today. Dr. Joshua Perper, the chief Broward County medical examiner who will perform the autopsy, said if her death was from natural causes, the findings would likely be announced quickly. He cautioned, however, that definitive results could take weeks.
"I am not a prophet, and I cannot tell you before the autopsy what I am going to find," he said.
"Undoubtedly, it will be found at the end of the day that drugs featured in her death as they did in the death of poor Daniel," said a former attorney for Smith in the Bahamas, Michael Scott.
Witnesses at the Florida hotel where she died reported that earlier in the week Smith needed help standing up and sitting down.
"She was completely out of it," Ron Hanson, a 57-year-old retiree, told the Orlando Sentinel.
A hotel worker who did not want to be identified said Smith was a frequent guest and "she does a lot of drugs."
"This was not the first time she passed out here," the worker said. "She has passed out numerous times in this hotel."
Late yesterday, two sheriff's deputies carried out at least eight brown paper bags sealed with red evidence tape from Smith's hotel room. WCBS-TV in New York reported that illegal narcotics and prescription drugs were found in the room, but police would not say what they removed.
Smith was dogged by rumors of drug abuse. When Birkhead filed suit in Los Angeles last October demanding a paternity test, he made explosive allegations that Smith was using methadone while she was pregnant.
Smith's fatal spiral began Wednesday when she fell and hit her head on the bathtub of her $600-a-night room at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino & Hotel in Hollywood, Fla., reported the tabloid TV show "The Insider."
The platinum blond bombshell was sick and feverish yesterday when she lay down for a nap, and never woke up.
At 1:39 p.m. yesterday, her private nurse called the hotel's front desk urgently requesting an ambulance, said Seminole County Police Chief Charlie Tiger.
A source told the TV show "Access Hollywood" that Smith apparently had choked on her own vomit. Tiger said only that Smith had been alone in the sixth-floor room before her nurse found her unconscious. A bodyguard was doing CPR on Smith when rescue personnel arrived at about 1:45 p.m., Tiger said.
Capt. Dan Fitzgerald of Hollywood Fire and Rescue said rescue workers tried to jump-start Smith's heart with an external pacemaker. He said Smith was intubated to clear her airway and an IV was inserted to administer adrenaline-type drugs, such as Narcan, which is usually given in cases of drug overdose.
Stunned hotel guests and staff watched as Smith was carried out on a gurney. "It all happened so fast," said Alan Peters, 55, of Fort Lauderdale. "Everyone was very concerned."
Fitzgerald said Smith never regained consciousness and showed no signs of life in the hotel room. She was rushed to Memorial Regional Hospital, where she was officially pronounced dead at 2:49 p.m.
The medical center also houses the Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital, named after the Yankee great and ex-husband of Smith's heroine Marilyn Monroe.
Stern and Smith, who had been living in the Bahamas, were in Florida to pick up a yacht they had bought, sources said. They had planned to sail back today to the Bahamas, where baby Dannielynn remained in the care of friends.
Born Vickie Lynn Hogan in Texas, Smith went from stripper to Guess jeans model to star of her own reality TV show.
She made headlines in 1994 by marrying 89-year-old oil tycoon Howard Marshall, who died a year later, setting up a legal battle over his estate between Smith and his son.
A federal court in California awarded Smith an inheritance of $474 million. The judgment was later overturned, but the Supreme Court ruled in May that she deserved another day in court.
Yesterday, relatives gathered at the Montgomery, Tex., home of Smith's mother, Virgie Arthur, said they were too heartbroken to speak.
"We need time to grieve and accept this," a relative said.

Anna Nicole Smith Died?

Anna Nicole Smith died? I found out last night at work that Anna Nicole Smith past away! I was in shock to hear what happened. My jaw dropped when me and my co- worker found out. She was a fascinating person. I'll admit I was so interested about her life. I love watching stories on VH1, E!, MTV., all different television programs about her and her life.
I will admit, I did take "Trimspa." Trimspa is one of the number one selling diet pills. Anna Nicole promoted for the brand. She was so good in the commercials about the product and I had to try it. Her line " Do you like my body?" That was so hilarious!
She is a beautiful person. She married a millionaire, who was about a hundred years old. She was a play boy model, she was like Marlyn Mauro, and her personality of a ditsy blonde fit her best.
She recently had a baby girl, and her son died a few days after the baby was born.
I feel so bad for the family, I cane tell that they have been through so much.
The son died of a drug overdose and I think Anna Nicole also died of a drug overdose.
Tonight I am going to watch the special on 20/20 about Anna Nicole Smith.
I hope she is resting in peace with her son and her husband.
She was very young to die.

ICE BOX.

Have you ever heard the song "Ice Box" by Omarian? This is an R&B song, it just came out on the radio. When I first herd this song, I was at St.Johns, walking to class. At first I was confused, I didn't get the hole entire concept of the song.
I came home that same night and I saw the music video. This song was following me! I got into a fight with my boyfriend, but our fights are short and stupid and it last for ten minutes. Don't get me wrong, I love my boyfriend but we fight once a month.
The one day we got into a little argument. I was driving to school and Ice Box came on the radio FOUR times in a row! It only takes me fifteen minutes to get to school. The minute I got into the car, the song played on one radio station, then it went to commerical and I put on a different radio station. BOOM the song came on again! Then it went to a wacko song and I changed the station...AGAIN! the song came on! It was crazy!
I couldn't believe the song came on FOUR times! I went to all of my classes...got in my car...and AGAIN the song came on! I couldn't believe it! I came home and sure enough my boyfriend was outside my house. He had a huge pillow that said "Princess" on it. It was the cutest thing in the world. After we get into an argument we always fix it, because we love each other.
I played the song for him. He started crying and being upset at himself. He knew that he was acting really cold towards me and that it was bothering me, because he is never mean to me. Tweezing?waXing?ThreaDing?shaveing? OUCH!

Do you tweeze? Shave? Thread? or Wax? Ouch!!
Well now there is something new! Laser Hair Removal! Don't you hate your unwanted body hair? There is hair everywhere on your body. Some hairs are light and not noticeable, but the dark hairs are what bothers everyone. Whether the hair is on your legs, face, chest, arm, back, neck, under arms ETC. Don't you just wish it wasn't there?
Since I work for a dermatologist I know everything there is to know about laser hair removal. I have been lasering patients for about six months now. Everyone I have seen is happy with the results.
I have my underarms lasered and I can tell you what to expect, how the treatment works, what happens during the treatment, and if I think of anything I'll write it.
First off you come into the office and you ask questions to the doctor. I can tell you know that the treatment works best on dark hairs and light skin. Sorry we can not laser anywhere around the eyes. If you have dark hair and dark skin, or light hair and light skin...the treatment will work but there is more of a chance you can get burned.
Please have someone certified to do this treatment. It takes five to seven treatments for the hair to go away. Yes, it cost a lot of money, it depends who you go to.
the procedure can anywhere from ten minutes to one hour, depending on the area that is being treated.
I definitely recommend it! You don't have to shave, tweeze wax or anything ever again! If you can afford it, Do it!
I dd not copy from any page (this came straight from my head...this is what I tell every patient that ask me about the laser) so please don't think I copied and paste...I did not look at a website...these are my words, I just know so much about the topic that I should write a story on it.

Salon Safar

http://salonsafar.com/

This website is a spa/salon that I went to about a month ago.
It is located in Manhattan.
I recommend this place to anyone.

A DAy at the SPa.

Have you ever been to a spa? A spa is the best place to go and relax. I went to a salon/spa the day before the semester of Spring 2007 began. Salon Safar, located in Manhattan was offering a promotion for a day at the spa.
My friend Margaret and I were at Roosevelt Field mall one day. We were looking around the mall shopping for clothes. Suddenly a man walked up to us. He was telling us about this special offer that Salon Safar was offering. We sat down by the food court as he was explaining the deal to us.
The deal was sixty dollars for a manicure, pedicure, facial, hair cut, blow dry, wash, and a message. Wow! that sounds amazing, Margret and I thought. Margaret and I took the offer. We paid sixty dollars each for a day at the spa. It usually cost me sixty dollars just to cut and blow dry my hair.
Salon Safar is located on Lexington, in Manhattan. I love going to Manhattan. I could not wait to go to the spa.The very next day, after buying the offer, we made an appointment.
The place was gorgeous. Everything was brand new and very clean. There were about ten people working. Three people for hair, Two people for manicure, Two people for a message, one person cleaning, one receptionist and one consult person.
Spending a full day at the spa was an amazing experience. I recommend everyone that has stress to go to a spa. Spas are so relaxing and play wonderful music that you can sleep to. I would definitely go to a spa the day before my wedding, or finals week.

I NEeD a brEaK!!!

Don't you sometimes wish you had a break? Well I am actually on break right now. I figured since I am in St.Johns, waiting for my next class to start...I decided to come to the library and write in my journal.
Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays are my most hectic days. On Wednesday I wake up in the morning and go to work. Right after work, I rush home, change and come to school. On Thursdays I wake up so early in the morning that it is still dark outside, come to school until twelve in the afternoon, run home, and go straight to work. I feel like I have no time for anything.
My Saturdays are the worse days, however the fastest day of the week. I go to work from eleven in the morning all the way to twelve midnight. I know thirteen hours of work for one day.
I have two jobs. I work for a dermatologist and I work for my dad. My father owns a business in Astoria, "Astoria Sports Complex." I run the children's birthday parties that are only held on Saturdays. I work for the dermatologist on the weekdays. Sunday is my only day off.
Today I went into work (the dermatologist) and she told me that she wants me to learn how it is to be the receptionist, since one of the girls are quiting. I feel so overwhelmed because now I have more hours and more things to learn.
I am taking six classes this Spring 2007 semester. I have so much work to do, it's crazy! Well i am not really complaining about school. I have six classes and today is the forth week of school and today is my first test... which is going to be easy.
Sometimes I feel like I need a break. I can't wait to go away this summer for three weeks. I will wake up late every single day, rest as much as possible, and enjoy my life. I can't wait for school to end. I believe we have ten weeks of school left, which is really nothing.

HeYY CoOkiE!!

I love Chinese food! The best part of eating Chinese food is the fortune cookie. I love to eat the fortune cookie. The cool part about the cookie is the comment it has inside. You can flip the back of the cookie and get a Chinese word along with some "lucky numbers."
Today I ate some Chinese food. I try to treat myself, by eating junk food. Today, as I was eating my food I took a break and I opened up my fortune cookie. On the cookie it said, " Don't forget something that means so much to someone."
I have to admit, I have the worse memory! I forget everything! I forget Christmas, birthdays, certain dates, so many special occasions, etc. What a surprise! Today is my eight month anniversary with my boyfriend Steve, and of course I forgot!
Every month my boyfriend buys me flowers and a card to wish me a happy anniversary. Every month I bake him something. One month I baked a cake, one month I made Brownies, one month I made jello shots, something for his sweet tooth.
Today I completely forgot! My boyfriend was pretty upset when he woke up this morning and I didn't have something made from scratch. I made the excuse that I had to wake up at 7:30am and I didn't have the time. Luckily I get out of school before he does (on Tuesdays). So I baked him a few cupcakes.
He was so happy when he came home from school. The house smelt like baking. The best smell in the world! I love my anniversary, it means so much to me and of course to my boyfriend. I hope I wont forget any special occasions anymore.

"YOU Mean So Much To Me"Poem

You Mean So Much To Me

by Kathy Somerman

You mean so much to me And I just wanted you to know how much I care......You mean so much to me
You have helped me to find a special outlook on life That was hiding deep inside me,Waiting for someone like you to open the door and set it free.
You mean so much to me For you have been there through good and bad times,
Drying the tears holding back the loneliness, Giving me a shoulder to cry on And enough smiles to last a life time.
You mean so much to me And I cant help but feel as though I owe you so much. If there is ever a way to hold and to help, To provide and encourage. I will be there for you. Where ever time may take us. I want you to remember How much you mean to me

about STeVee G.

I love Steve G. Steve is my wonderful boyfriend, who I love and adore sooooo much. Steve and I have been in love for over eight months. We met though my best friend Marc. Marc has an older brother named Mike. Mike is best friends with Steve. One night I was hanging out with Marc at his house and Steve was hanging out with Mike (we were all in the same house). So basically you know how we met.
Ever since the day we met, April 5,2006 everything has been amazing. Steve lives three blocks away from me. I see Steve every single day, which is always the highlight of my day. I always wait by my door for him.
Steve is the definition of a perfect MAN. He works full-time, goes to school full-time, and treats me like a princess. Steve gives me everything and anything. He puts me first and only cares about me and my happiness.
Don't get me wrong...I do so much for him! I make his bed every morning, I wake him up every morning, I remind him about everything, I cook for him, I clean his clothes, etc. I do all of these things because he definitely deserves it!
We are perfect for each other. We both have done things together that we never did with other people. For example we went to prom together, we went upstate together, our families love us together, we went to six flags together for the first time, we went to Fire Island, so many things that we are so proud of.
Steve and I are going to go to Italy in the summer. It will be his parents twenty fifth anniversary and we are going to Italy and on a cruise. Wow! I can't wait!
Steve and I are so close. I never been this close with anyone in my life. Everyone knows us as being the perfect couple, simply because he is the perfect guy and I am the perfect girl. Do I see myself with him in the future? Of course I do! once I finish college we are getting married. I think Prom night was the best night of my life, but if we get married there is no doubt in my mind our wedding day will be the best night of my life.

New Picture!

Hey guys! I'm so excited I have been trying to figure out how to put a picture on my blog page and I just did it!
As you can see from my picture I have light brown eyes, a cute nose, a big bright, white smile. My hair color is light brown now, however it was blonde the entire summer. I damaged my hair terribly. I kept dieing it and bleaching it, I know, BIG mistake! Before I started St.Johns I took the dye out of my hair and it was completely black. After washing my hair everyday, my hair got lighter and lighter. Now my hair is light. OK enough about my hair, because I hate my hair!
I love to work out. As you can see from my picture I take care of my body. I love wearing cute clothes (from Mandees, HA!). I was an aerobic instructor for Bally Total Fitness for two years. My dad owns a gym in Astoria, "Astoria Sports Complex"and I also teach an aerobic step class there. My favorite gym to go to is St.John's gym. It has beautiful machines, brand new, and everyone working out is around my age. I love to come to school and work out and go straight to class. Yes I go to three gyms, which I have to admit, it's pretty crazy but I don't care I have to get up and work out.
Before I leave I must say, Please do not steal my picture! It is MY picture! Please do not post this picture on your page! I have seen people take my picture on myspace, facebook, I hope no one takes my picture on Blogger.com!

Did I Miss Anything?

When i read this poem, Did I Miss Anything? Right away I thought of our class discussion that we had in class. Professor Marsh was telling us how the big classroom rule is to not ask "Did I Miss Anything?"
I honestly think "Did I Miss Anything?" By Tom Wayman is a great poem. I got this poem from my speech teacher. Professor Rusicca handed this poem out to the class the first day of the Spring semester. I think that all the teachers should read this poem to the class.
I like how Tom Wayman used the words "Nothing" and "Everything" in his stanzas alternatively. I also like when Tom is telling the students how they missed absolutely nothing and they sat there with their hands folded for two full hours. Ha! I wish class was like that! And then he saids how the student missed an exam that is worth forty percent of the final grade. Ha! it stinks to know you missed a test or a pop up quiz.
I definitely recommend this poem to teachers and students. It gives a good vibe of what happens when you are absent for just one day. I was never absent last semester. I am known for always going to my classes, even in High School. I think it is a big percentages of my grade and good for the teacher to know that I care to come to class.

DiD I MISS ANYTHING?

Did I Miss Anything?
By Tom Wayman
Nothing. When we realized you weren't here
we sat with our hands folded on our desks
in silence, for the full two hours
Everything. I gave an exam worth
40 per cent of the grade for this term
and assigned some reading due today
on which I'm about to hand out a quiz worth 50 per cent
Nothing. None of the content of this course
has value or meaning
Take as many days off as you like:
any activities we undertake as a class
I assure you will not matter either to you or me
and are without purpose
Everything. A few minutes after we began last time
a shaft of light descended and an angel
or other heavenly being appeared
and revealed to us what each woman or man must do
to attain divine wisdom in this life and
the hereafter
This is the last time the class will meet
before we disperse to bring this good news to all people
on earth
Nothing. When you are not present
how could something significant occur?
Everything. Contained in this classroom
is a microcosm of human existence
assembled for you to query and examine and ponder
This is not the only place such an opportunity has been
gathered
but it was one place
And you weren't here
